Your information matters

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Words to Wear collects, uses, protects and shares personal information when you visit our website, contact us or place an order.

Effective September 23, 2026

1. Who we are

Words to Wear is an inspirational clothing brand operated by Evon Small in Ontario, Canada. Questions or requests about your privacy can be directed to Evon Small at esmalljsm25@gmail.com or (403) 880-3064.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information reasonably needed to respond to you and complete your order. This may include:

  • your name, email address and telephone number;
  • your delivery address or pickup instructions;
  • the products, sizes, colours and quantities you request;
  • your payment preference and messages you send us; and
  • photos, testimonials or other content you voluntarily provide.

We do not ask you to enter full credit-card, bank-account or PayPal login details on this website.

3. How ordering works

Your shopping cart is stored locally in your web browser on your device. When you submit an order, its details are sent to Words to Wear through FormSubmit, our form-delivery service. Review submissions, including a rating, feedback, display name, private email address and optional photo, are stored in our private review queue. Photos are held separately and are shown publicly only after approval with photo permission. We may use FormSubmit to email the owner a notification that a review is waiting; the queue remains the record of your submission. If you use the backup email link, your email provider will also process the message under its own privacy practices.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to answer inquiries, prepare and confirm orders, arrange shipping or pickup, assist with payment, provide customer service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet accounting, tax or legal requirements. We review customer feedback and may publish a submitted rating, display name, review or photo only with the permission selected on the review form. We do not display the email address submitted with a review. You can ask us to remove a published review or photo using the contact details above. We will obtain additional consent before using your information for a new purpose where required.

5. Payments

PayPal or your financial institution processes payment information under its own privacy policy. Words to Wear may receive transaction details such as your name, email address, payment amount and transaction status, but does not receive your PayPal password or complete banking credentials.

6. When we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share only what is necessary with providers that help us operate—for example payment, email, printing/production, delivery, bookkeeping or professional advisers—or when disclosure is required or permitted by law. Some providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of another country.

7. Website analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source, scrolling and link interactions through cookies or similar identifiers. We use these reports to improve the website and our marketing. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, delivery addresses or payment details to Google Analytics. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

8. Safeguards and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No online or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal or business record-keeping requirements, then securely delete or anonymize it.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion, subject to legal and record-keeping exceptions. Contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact us to request its deletion.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will show when it was last revised.
